Qualifications and experience needed for a career in Childcare
The duration to complete your qualification aligns to the required Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) volume of learning indicators. The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is 12 months, and the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is 24 months.
If you have current industry experience, you may be eligible to fast track the course and complete it sooner. If a student requires more time to complete the qualification, the student may apply for an extension. Please note that fees apply for any extensions.
Venture Education supports students to find a service to complete the required vocational placement hours. However, in relation to employment, students are encouraged to seek this at their discretion. Venture Education and their trainers have years of industry experience and can support you to prepare for gaining employment within the industry once you have completed your course.
