CHC30113 - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care

This is the level qualification for anyone who wants to work in the childcare industry and gain employment in ACECQA approved early childhood services. You'll study for 12 months and clock up 120 hours of work experience in a childcare environment. By the end of the course, not only will you be qualified but you'll also have practical on the job experience. It is possible to start your career in early childhood before you graduate, however, you must be enrolled and working your way through this course. CHC50113 - Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care

What's great about it?

If you're a born leader or you know that you want to work your way up once you've started your career in Childcare, then this is the course for you. The Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care is the qualification required to work in supervisor and senior roles such as a lead educator, coordinator or director in an early childhood service. When you graduate you'll be confident in your abilities, after all, you will have been studying for two years, and you will clock up over 200 hours on the job! If you decide to keep studying, after you've received your qualification you'll be able to gain recognition of prior learning towards an advanced diploma or bachelor's degree!

What will I learn?

The CHC50113 - Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care reflects the role of early childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services. In doing so, students work to implement an approved learning framework within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standards. With topics on management, you will also develop the ability to lead and support other staff, implement and lead educational programs, and manage a variety of tasks within an early childhood service. You'll gain the skills to design and implement curriculum in early childhood education and care services.
